About Us

 

At Lydgate After School Club we're committed to providing a fun, friendly and safe environment for your child to play, learn and develop in. We offer a wide range of activities including a well stocked indoor arts and crafts area, an outdoor play area with scooters, skates and sports equipment and an indoor quiet area for reading.

 

We also frequently run cooking sessions as well as taking part in seasonal activities for a variety of exciting occasions such as Christmas, Bonfire Night, Valentines Day and of course Mothers and Fathers Day. 

 

During each session the children are given a healthy snack of fruit and a combination of other wholesome foods. This healthy snack is always meat and nut free and suitable for vegetarians, we can also cater for children with allergies and provide a gluten free alternative upon request.

 

We collect the Reception children from their classrooms and Year One and Two children from designated collection points at the end of school hours. We bring them all supervised to the After School Club which is located in the school's dining hall and the adjacent yard. At the end of after school club we ask that you collect your children from the dining hall and not from the main entrance of Lydgate Infant School.
